15. 04. 2026 News 3min

The European Political Community Summit will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, on May 4, 2026, bringing together high-level delegations from across the region. Euro Jet is ready to support flights for the event, providing reliable ground services and operational assistance.

The summit will be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex, Armenia’s largest multi-purpose sports and cultural venue. This will be the 8th EPC meeting, marking a major diplomatic milestone for Armenia and an important moment for regional security in Europe. Under the headline “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe”, the agenda will focus on democratic resilience, hybrid threats, energy security, and connectivity. Leaders from around 50 countries, along with EU leadership, are expected to attend.

Euro Jet’s local team at Yerevan Airport (UDYZ/EVN) includes Station Manager Sergey Barikyan and Ground Service Coordinator Yegor Gasparyan. Their local knowledge and expertise ensure a seamless experience on the ground.

Several operational factors should be considered when planning flights to Yerevan for the summit. The landing permit process is relatively complex, handled through a local ministry platform with limited working hours. We recommend preparing and submitting all required documentation well in advance to avoid delays – Euro Jet can assist with this process and help ensure everything is in order.

Please note that the use of the VIP lounge is mandatory for all ad-hoc flights at Yerevan Airport. Slot and parking availability are expected to be limited due to the volume of traffic. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep customers informed as updates become available. Catering and crew ground transportation should also be arranged ahead of time.

May 4 has been declared a non-working day in Armenia to reduce traffic during the summit. Expect road closures and heightened security, particularly in central Yerevan. These restrictions should be factored into all planning. Early coordination and clear communication will be key – our team is on hand to support all aspects of the operation.

Euro Jet’s assistance covers a full range of ground support services, including:
