Euro Jet Ready to Support Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix returns to Baku from September 24-26, 2026, bringing teams, guests, and fans to the Azerbaijani capital for one of the country’s largest international events. With flight activity expected to increase in the days leading up to the race weekend, Euro Jet is ready to assist operators traveling to Baku with complete flight and ground support throughout the event period.
Ground Support at Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport
Heydar Aliyev International Airport (UBBB/GYD) is the main airport serving Baku and the primary gateway for flights connected to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Euro Jet can arrange a full range of ground support services at the airport in close cooperation with our trusted long-term local partner.
Operations are overseen by Euro Jet’s Regional Manager Marina Abdushkureva, drawing on many years of experience supporting flights related to major high-profile events in Azerbaijan and across the region. Every movement is also backed by our 24/7 Operational Control Center, providing continuous coordination before, during, and after each flight.

Operational Recommendations
Operators planning flights to Baku during the Grand Prix period are advised to submit their requests as early as possible. In particular, catering orders should be completed well in advance, and crew accommodation should be secured early due to increased demand around the event.
We also recommend requesting landing and overflight permits as soon as flight details are available, allowing sufficient time for processing any necessary coordination.
At the time of writing, no special airport slot requirements or event-specific operational procedures have been announced for UBBB. Should any restrictions or additional procedures be introduced closer to the event, we will share the latest operational updates on our LinkedIn Profile.
Simplified Visa Procedure for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
From August 25 to September 30, 2026, foreign nationals traveling to Azerbaijan in connection with the Formula 1 race can obtain a visa on arrival at Azerbaijan’s international airports by presenting one of the following:
- An accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of Formula One Management Limited and the FIA.
- An accreditation card issued by Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
- A physical or electronic ticket for the 2026 Formula 1 race in Baku, or a document confirming the purchase of a ticket.
